On July 14, 2017, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized and instituted a federal regulation; 40 C.F.R. Chapter 1, Subchapter N, Part 441 Dental Office Point Source Category. Due to this new update, South Valley Water Reclamation Facility (SVWRF) Pretreatment Department must implement the new federal regulation with each dental provider within the SVWRF service area.
